If you are reading this, it is probably because you are interested in optical media either from a data recovery or a forensic point of view.  I am going to be writing about both sorts of things in the future and I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Some of the material is going to be pretty technical in nature, but I will make an effort to explain some of the more complicated concepts as much as I can.  Don’t be shy about asking for more in depth explanations though.

If you haven’t read the “About” page, I strongly suggest you do so.

Just to get things started, I expect to be putting out a bunch of articles in the coming couple of weeks or so.  After that, things will probably slow down some and you should expect something once or twice a week.  So if you choose to get email notifications it will not be that busy.
